I ordered a dog collar for Murphy a few weeks ago, and it arrived on Friday. Since we put it on him Friday night, it has been coming off. We've found it on the floor a few times.
I called the company today to see if I could exchange it (I had bought one with a brass buckle, and I wanted to exchange it for one of the safety-release ones that will stay on him). They told me I was unable to send it back/exchange it since the dog has already worn it. "We wouldn't be able to re-sell that collar."
Yeah, I understand the hygiene thing, but I mean, isn't it important for a dog collar to stay on the dog? It's not like I want to exchange it because I decided I don't like the pattern or something like that - it won't stay on! They offered me free shipping if I ordered another one, but that's still $20 I'd have to spend on another collar. I'd rather just go to Petsmart and buy one there, knowing that if there's a problem, they'll take it back, no questions asked.
Not really a huge deal, but still annoying.
