This list of things that DON'T contain animal products is probably shorter than the list of things that do.

It seems to me that I recall hearing that some cars wouldn't be considered vegan because the engine blocks are cast in sand molds held together with a component of pig fat.
I really wonder if a vegan would choose death rather than a life-saving medical treatment that had an animal component, be it testing or a piece of the animal itself.
