1. Were the aliens asexual? When we first met Christopher, his son, and the other alien (in yellow) during the attempts to get them to assign eviction notices, it seemed like they were a 'family unit'. But later they referred to yellow-alien as 'he'. Also, they showed that the reproduction didn't involve the standard earth mammalian female in-utero gestation.

2. Why were the gangsters Nigerian? Was that, in a way, in conflict with the point of the film about tolerance/co-existing? Why couldn't the be South African gangsters? (I'm curious if there was a purpose in that)
