What a freakin day. Diagnose me, ST. Anyone here get migraines? I went to work but my condition deteriorated the first few hours to the point where

I had to go home. I felt sick but not sick to my stomach. My head felt like 1000 lbs. I absolutely needed to rest it against something. Pain that began at the base of my neck and went up the back of my skull to primarily the left side near the top of my head. At times I felt nauseous and quite dizzy and my mind was racing with all manner of weird thoughts. I really had to find some resolve to concentrate, drive home and crawl into bed.

Better now than earlier but still feel the pain around my neck and head.

Have had an episode or two like this before but they seem pretty rare. Wife thinks this is what it is and not, as I suspected earlier, the comedown from finishing the prednisone two days ago.

Any simple tips as to what eases the pain? Ice pack. I am already in a low lit room and don't intend to be on the computer staring at a screen for long.
