Getting irate at the extremists isn't going to convince those in the middle you're right, it's going to blur the lines between you and the extremist.

I fully in favor of a public option. Part of the reason the Dems are losing this battle is because they feel they have to fight the people diametrically opposed to the idea, when in reality they just need to convince the people (congress and normal folks) who aren't so hardlined in between.
