I am slightly embarrassed to admit this, but...

when I was sightseeing in DC yesterday, I went to the Jim Henson's Fantastic World exhibit at the Smithsonian - and I got slightly emotional and teary-eyed when I came across the Bert and Ernie puppets enclosed in a case. I felt like I was meeting lifelong friends for the first time.

I grew up with Sesame Street - it was a little weird for me to be standing in front of those puppets.
