I meant failed in terms of trying to sell their agenda. Not saying that the crazies have won or will win. I'm saying the Dems have failed to sell it.

To your IM, there seems to be this tremendous rush to get health care reform passed. If they are still as far from reaching a consensus as you state (and I have no reason to doubt you), then why have they pushed this sense of a mad dash? Just take your time, educate people, and do it right.
