You are entitled to one free report a year. The site for it is annualcreditreport.com IIRC

They'll try to sell you credit monitoring services and such, just decline that stuff
note that other sites , like freecreditreport.com are not the offIcial site and are not free - they require you to sign up fo services and suchi
