I hooked it all up following the diagram. Now, the fan works (both on auto and just turning it on), the ac works, but when it's set to heater the fan blows but I don't think the furnace turns on--and it's not listening to the thermostat because it just keeps running (up to 83 degrees, even though it was set to 67)

So, does this mean the white (heating) wire is the problem, or the red (Rc/Rh which I think is the main power and control) is the problem.

IANAHVAC - It may not even be the wiring. The temp sensor(s) could have failed to key it to turn off. Just a thought. -- nm - VMan Nov 7, 10:41 4
- Here's the oddball thing. There's supposed to be a little icon of a flame when the heat's on which doesn't display. The snowflake displays for a.c. -- nm - Amy Nov 7, 10:43 3

      - If it's gas the pilot could be out. Typical high efficiency will start low and you should hear a distinct increase in air flow noise after a few - VMan Nov 7, 10:54
