Guy, I give up on my part of the bacteria question, the only thing I've found out is how unreliable wikipedia is (once again)

from the article you linke me to, it estimates that humans are composed of 10 trillion cells

" and there are at least ten times as many bacteria as human cells in the body (approximately 10^14 versus 10^13).[5][6] "

from a different article on cells, it estimates that humans are made up of 100 trillion cells

"(Humans have an estimated 100 trillion or 10^14 cells; a typical cell size is 10 �m; a typical cell mass is 1 nanogram.)"
