Exhibition business is too small to burn any bridges so I can't imagine that you'd do any less than proper notice.
I was more referring to the whole start of the theater week / normal folks weekend to start the job.
If you started on the more traditional Monday, you'd have a few days to kind of ease into before facing your first weekend.
Bigger theater? Promotion to GM over your current non GM position at your current place?
Closer to home?
