The woot tablet is DigiPro brand. It works fine. You can draw lines of varying width and color. You can use it as a mouse. It has pressure

sensitivity.

If you hover above the tablet surface, it will move the pointer to that position, and then draw (or click) when you touch the tip to the surface.

I've used it for freeform art and to "decorate" some photographs.

I'm hoping my the kids in my life will enjoy it as well.


Some of my colleagues used one to demarcate cells in microscopic images. They had a more advanced model, but I don't know exactly which one.
