It comes with 1 wiimote and 1 nunchuk. You should buy an extra wiimote and an extra nunchuk. That should be sufficient for now. -- nm

Depending on how often you have company, getting three extra controllers/nunchucks isn't a bad idea.

Note: 2 controllers is all you need to do up to 4 player bowling as well as 2 player tennis, boxing, etc. -- nm
