and what difference does it make if the window cracked or shattered? those are both minor details that don't really change the subject of the story.

the discrepancies that you should be focusing on are the circumstances by which they were asked to move and for what purpose. therein lies the truth about the restaurant's motivations and whether they were truly racist or not
