After the 8 years of backbiting from the left, I would never EVER do or say anything to discourage the sudden wave of optimism that is flowing through their ranks.

It may be fueled by false ideologies or misplaced faiths or just the feeling of expunging a colon-load of liberal white guilt, but whatever the reason, watching the lefties be suddenly proud of America is a beautiful, beautiful thing, and I'm more than happy to join with them in a sense of unity, however brief it may last.

Is Obama going to be the greatest president ever? Unlikely. But I would certainly like to be wrong. I want *whoever* is in the office now -- while I'm alive and here to reap the benefits -- to be the greatest ever.
