I thought the characters from Torchwood were already appearing throughout Season 2, no?

THat was one of my issues with Dr. Who post-Eccelston, that it was becoming obvious that it was just being used to advertise other BBC shows like Torchwood and the Sarah Jane Smith spinoff.
