I'm thinking about leaving the car in Port Angeles and taking the ferry as a foot passenger to save $$ and avoid waits/reservations, but I'm wondering if we'll have an easy time getting around the island that way.
Responses:
Victoria is a City. Vancouver Island is almost twice the size of Israel.

(I know the subject comes across as pretty condescending, but I wanted to counter the "Around the island" part of your IM :)) -- nm

The subject line doesn't take into account the size of Israel changes like every thirty minutes either. -- nm

well, this is true. Wikipedia lists it as either 20,000 or 22,000 square KM right now (for obvious reasons). VI: 32,000 sqkm -- nm
