There's a reason so many sellers gouge on shipping on ebay. It's to cover paypal and selling fees.

The margins are so tight for a lot of items that shipping is the only place they can squeeze a little profit in.
Anyway, more to the point of your question, if you have a product you want to sell, ebay is sort of *it*, so what choice do you really have (as chris said).
