In response to "There's a law against underage baptism? Really? -- nm" by Ender

The law puts the power in the hands of the parents, not the 16 year old.It is not the 16 yo's decision to make and if the parents complain, the law

gives their opinion more weight than that of the child.

The child's right to consent flows from the parents and without their approval the consent is meaningless.
