No. I fully understand that in this instance, the adults blurred too many lines, didn't get adequate permission

but I don't think there is a situation where they couldn't have acted in a way that made it possible. And it wouldn't matter, in that case, what kind of religion it was. But then, in that case, each parent and kid would know and have been fully informed.
