Yes, that's true. You're one of the few people I've ever heard argue otherwise.

The founding fathers put most of the bill of rights in play to counteract what England did to them. England forced their religion on their people. So, the bill of rights was protecting against government sponsored reilgion. Not that all religion has to be out of government completely. That's just revisionist history, dude.
