well, again to the superstore example - it's mostly not the selection that's the issue, it's the quality.

They've improved in the last six months, but still not to a point where I would buy the produce there.

One time, about two years ago, we bought a carton of milk from them (1%). After we got home and opened it, I noticed brown/black spots around the spout. The milk seemed fine, but the spout was messed.

I was not pleased, but since that store is a 35-40 minute drive away, I didn't bother complaining. I just don't buy milk from them any more; instead, I get it from the actual grocery store that is literally across the street from me.

Megan doesn't seem to make this connection, though, so she still occasionally buys it from there. Haven't had that same problem since then, but I still think of it and try not to buy that sort of stuff from them if I can avoid it.
