free promotion is good, sure; and i am positive many companies/artists would agree to it. they can't allow the no-permission precedent to be set, though.

it's such a known thing, it's baffling they just did it. (and the not how they roll thing? um, hope that was an unpaid intern or something. amusing, but yikes.)
