There are elements that you can do on it a/p a PDA, it has a calendar, EMail, for instance

But you really do need to have some sort of WIFI present so you can't do it while driving, on a train, etc. because you need to access some sort of WIFI to use the Email/internet, unlike an IPHone which provides the connection through AT&T (the same is the case with a Treo/Blackberry etc)
