In response to "What do we think of the phrase, "You can't teach an old dog new tricks?" True? False? Maybe a tiny bit true?" by kelly

Absolutely untrue, it has to with the temperament, intelligence and willingness of the dog to please it's master

I have a 5 year old Blue Healer that I can sit down and teach any trick I want to because he's eager and smart. In fact, my wife taught him how to catch a Frisbee just this year. My 6 year old Jack Russell, is neigh impossible to work with and I've tried working with her sense she was very young.

Teaching a dog it's boundary is not an easy task, and takes a lot of patience. However it -can- be done.
