think (old-school) about copying off to CDs, but isn't a better alternative an external drive? Model recommendations ??

Also, if I was later to buy a netbook, the drive could be used to carry larger amounts of data, right?

And in this case...with a netbook I might want to go wireless at home. Is this a fairly easy conversion? An additional device connected to the exsisting modem?

Guide me, ST gurus...
