I would love to own a boat and wonder how much I should start saving up for the future. There is a place in NYC where you can dock your boat to live..

how long is the waiting list? some of those marinas, you buy the boat that's docked there to get the berthing priviledge -- nm

I know a few people that have boats docked in Brooklyn and they say the docking fees aren't bad.
