Are you using an LCD? You probably don't have the resolution set to the native resolution of the LCD. It is different for each LCD. You could post

the model number and I could try to figure it out. Otherwise, just try making your resolution higher. Most people make it lower to "see things bigger" but then it blurs everything as the LCD tries to stretch the images to the right resolution.
