OK, here's the deal with Mop Jr. Dr. Dick says we have to operate immediately!

Not because of any imminent danger or chance of permanent hearing loss. The way my wife explains it, once his skull and jaw realign, the fluid in his ears could drain on their own. He has no pain and no apparent infection. We have to operate immediately because of what he might miss out on during his hearing loss (which, presently, seems very limited). Oh, and we might as well take out his adenoids while we're at it. Did you check his throat? No. Should we get an x-ray or something? *sigh* I guess so. Say, doctor, you're a real dick.
