Small moments of unanticipated generosity are the best thing in the world

So I went a little crazy grocery shopping at Target this evening.
Instead of taking a gypsy cab, which would've cost me about $8, I figure if I can just get to the bus stop, I can wait for the bus to take me the rest of the way home. So, I'm walking along, with probably upwards or 60 lbs of groceries all told (including a 28 lb box of kitty litter). well, the bus stop is about six blocks from the store, my apartment another 8 blocks past that. I'm a block away from the bus stop, and a girl, maybe 18, 19 years old, comes out of her apartment with her mother and tells me that she's moving out, and was going to get rid of a folding laundry cart and would I like to take it to help get my groceries home.
There are still decent people out there in the world. Something to remember.
