The hospitality industry is hurting bad. Hotels all over are doing any (and every) thing they can to stay afloat.

And while the way they handled it was really shitty...ask any business owner how they would feel if they could get the same amount and quality of work for say...75% of their current payroll.
How many do you suppose would say..."Ya know, thanks...but no thanks. We'll keep paying out more"?
Also...the whole part about hardly any hotels outsourcing their housekeeping...that ain't true. There's all kinds of housekeeping agencies that staff hotels all over the country.
