She, on the other hand, is a bitch. You gave talking a shot and it turned out exactly like I told you it would. She's not looking for a reason to stay together, she wants you to be so miserable there that you'll finally just "go". Heh, I'd call her out on it and present her with a list of your wants: 1/2 the house (she can buy you out, you don't want to sstay anyway so let her pay you. Also, you want 50% of the retirement you've contributed and insurance you've contributed to. Finally, throw in there that you want the cat and 50% of all her future earnings to make up for putting your career on hold to put her through school. Then we'll see ho much she still "loves you". :D
