I have another Kentucky high school & religion story for you. Tell what you think.

The linked story is about a parent who is upset about a film shown to a group of 10 high schoolers in a leadership class. It's by Dutch anti-Islam lawmaker Geert Wilders and it was shown on 9/11.
The parent took the girl out of school & says she's in counseling due to the violence in the film. The school says the teacher showed poor judgment and has been dealt with.
I knew who Wilders is but had never seen the film. There's a link to youtube in the story so I watched it. There are some graphic scenes. The slant is extremely anti-Islam.
I can see this being shown to older high school students as part of a class on world religions or political science, as an example of extreme thinking. However, this appears to have been strictly a commemoration of 9/11.
Was it appropriate for the film to have been shown? Would you, as a parent, expect to have been told beforehand?
The comments seem to be split between "not all Muslims" believe this", "ALL Muslims believe this", and "you're stupid because you can't spell".
There's a poll as well:
Do you think it was appropriate for a teacher to show the violent, anti-Islam movie "Fitna" to a group of high-school students?
Yes (139) 49.47%
No (130) 46.26%
Uncertain (12) 4.27%
