it's not that i'm anti-purebred, and other than the obvious 'rescue-a-dog' angle, i just can't imagine spending so much $ on a animal

when there are others, that i would love just as much, that are just waiting to be adopted.
oh, but as for breeds i like - i *am* fond of boxers.

There are rescue organizations for most breeds. You can get a great dog that way. -- nm

oh, i know but i feel those animals are fine - someone will take them. the humane society, etc animals are living in small cages, for a long time.
