Yeah, I get that, but even still... it happens with good ol American plans sometimes too.

You leave an old plan around so you don't force your older employees to change coverage they like, and then the system sort of shifts around it and it gets to be pretty pricy, esp as it wanes in popularity and it's only held by older people who never switched, and then when you consolidate the better option ends up cheaper.
