1.69 ERA and 11/5 record vs Fernando's 2.48 ERA and 13 wins...

course Fernando had 8 shutouts and about 20% more strikeouts than Ryan.

1987, Ryan went 8 & 16....while leading the league in ERA...no chance when you go 8 & 16
