Just got my Jeopardy! 25th Anniversary Season e-mail announcement, and I have to wonder: Why not a 25th Anniversary Invitational?

They did this after Ken Jennings (milking him for all he was worth). Was it their 20th anniversary? They need to do this again. Bring back the biggest champs and make them face off. I feel that last time, some of the best players got cut for just one mistake. What I have always liked about Jeopardy is that you can do well so long as you know most of the answers. Other quiz shows will send you packing if you get just one question wrong. The tournament needs to have a way of allowing good players to advance even when they're not necessarily the winners. The use of wildcards in the early round is excellent and should be advanced, I think, into later rounds, too.
