i actually don't like everything sitting in my inbox either, and i never apply labels because it doesn't *move* anything.

i never think to complain about it, but i prefer folders

I think they added the "move to" button to specifically fix this complaint.

Yeah, "Move to" does the labelling and archiving in one step now. So it's identical to "moving to" a folder now. -- nm

Maybe it's a Labs feature, but my Gmail has a "Move To" drop down that moves and archives -- nm
