Heh about the Chilean. :) I've never heard that about Argentines, but it doesn't surprise me. It may have to do with the fact that we traditionally revere Gen. Simon de Bolivar as a national hero more than our neighbors. Not sure why. He liberated all of South America, not just us. However, he is like our George Washington. That's just a guess.
Believe me, nationalism is a whole *thing* with the older Argentines. We rule, everyone else sucks. That economic meltdown we had a few years back took us down a notch or two. :)
