LIR - really, Argentinians lionise Bolivar more than other SA countries? More than Venezuela or Colombia? And when the Argentinians have San Martin?

Not that I disbelieve you, I am just surprised.
I got the feeling he thought Argentine snobbery came from the tremendous wealth that Argetina generated in the late 1800s compared with the rest of Latin America, and that as a result Argentines (according to him) thought they were more European than other South Americans.
