most of the time they sell you on the defense when they already know that this and that charge will be dropped, they'll offer prob and time served etc

but while you're sitting in the cell getting freaked out by claustophobia they can pry the retirment account out of your hands. you don't get a refund of the retainer if all they do is show up and shake hands with the dep.ag and htey already know the routine
