Permanent Fund Dividend. $1305 this year... direct deposited yesterday!

Years ago, the state took a billion or so from our sales of oil leases to the oil companies and created the Permanent Fund. Each year, they take most of the interest earned on the fund, divvy it up and send out a check to every Alaskan resident. (not a gov't handout!)
