Here's a WaPo editorial about the Nobel and they suggest it should have gone to a woman that died protesting the Iranian elections. Why is this

notable?

The Nobel cannot be awarded to a dead person. It's in the rules the committee is bound by.

So, while one can argue that Obama isn't the best choice for this year's award, you'd think a paper of the WaPo's stature would manage to get the facts straight when making a recommendation for someone more worthy.
