My 3-yr-old had a great birthday party this weekend.

The school's gymnastics team does this kids activities program called KidSpirit (if this sounds familiar it's because we did the same thing for my 4-yr-old son last year). Basically, it's just gymnastics fun for kids. We had 9 kids at the party, a very manageable group. One of the kids - a boy - was celebrating his 5th birthday and his mom wasn't going to throw him a party, so we included him in the activities and made sure to get him a present. There was cake and tons of party favors and many happy kids.
