It's very hard, but what I am starting to find tiring is the fact you start over at the beginning of the level when you die

this wouldn't be a big deal, but you've got to fight your way through every demon you've killed again (and again and again) to reach the end. And while every single bad guy regenerates after you die, none of the treasures do. So it becomes quite hard to stockpile supplies to make it to the end of a level.
