Right now, my biggest problem with the Senate Finance bill is that it ignores the SGR problem that everyone knows they need to fix...

because it costs over $200B to fix, and they can't make it revenue neutral with it in there. So they pretend its revenue neutral to get it passed, by doing another BS one-year patch to the SGR requirement, instead of rebasing it like they need to.
(SGR = "sustainable growth rate" for Medicare, which currently mandates a 21% payment cut to physicians in 2010, that will never happen, but as it stands in the Baucus bill, simply becomes a 27% scheduled payment cut in 2011, which also won't happen, when it becomes a 32% pay cut in 2012...)
