i follow her and i like her a lot, in part because she's smart and self-aware. even if she really didn't think about how it might be taken, to be surprised at the crappy comments, when she's faced them for far less, er, in-your-face appearance things? no. and i seriously doubt her thought to quit twittering was more than a passing thing - she gets a lot out of it on the positive side.
