Country star GARTH BROOKS announced this morning (10/15) at the GRAND OLE OPRY in NASHVILLE that he is coming out of retirement. According to USA TODAY's NASHVILLE correspondent BRIAN MANSFIELD, GARTH mentioned that his music will not be available on iTUNES until "variable pricing and album-only sales are allowed."

Further announcements will be made later today in LAS VEGAS. As for GARTH's return to the stage, it seems imminent that GARTH will be doing a long concert stand at the WYNN THEATRE in LAS VEGAS, as rumors have been flying for weeks. The press conference will begin at 3p (ET) TODAY (10/14).
