1) This is business. It's not political, it's not racial. It's 100% business. The NFL owners look at Rush Limbaugh and see no potential upside...only potential downside. What does he have to offer the league to make it better? Absolutely nothing. So...with nothing to gain and only potential losses with him involved...why would anyone be surprised the NFL said, "Thanks but no thanks."
2) All the BS about Rush being taken out of context and all of that is complete nonsense and it's EXACTLY what he wants. Rush is a fucking smart man. He knows EXACTLY what he's saying and takes a lot of time to craft what he's going to say. Every word that comes out of his mouth, in my opinion, was thought of and said for a reason.
3) Regarding the bus incident in Illinois...I just wonder if McCain was president...would he have used that beating as his way to chime about how THIS is what happens in "McCain's America". Of course not. That whole segment about Obama's America was nothing but walking the grey line racism. Because he never would have said it about McCain. He wouldn't have said it about Hillary and he wouldn't have said it if a bunch of white kids beat up a black kid on the bus. Period.
4) I'm just glad it's over so maybe our local talk show hacks will move onto something else...like how awesome the Broncos are!!
