do you own the house? put in a wood stove, I mean its a good emergency backup when the grid is down

about every 5 years we get an ice storm that knocks down power lines for a week, that's a LONG time to be freezing. a fireplace is like camping in the winter with only a campfire for warmth, a wood stove gives you a fire place and warmth for the room if not most of the house
